What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM unless otherwise arranged. This allows our housekeeping team enough time to prepare each home for arriving guests.

How will I receive my check-in information?

Your check-in instructions, including the property's address, door code, and important arrival information, will be emailed before your stay. All homes offer convenient self check-in.

Do I need to visit an office to check in?

No. All of our vacation rentals offer self check-in, allowing you to arrive at your convenience after check-in time.

About the Homes

Are linens and towels provided?

Yes! Fresh bed linens, bath towels, and kitchen towels are provided for your stay. We also provide starter supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, and trash bags to get you started. If you need anything beyond what is supplied you can visit Family Dollar or Dollar General down the road in Terra Alta or Wal-Mart in Oakland.

Do the homes have Wi-Fi?

Yes. All of our vacation rentals include Wi-Fi, making it easy to stay connected whether you're working remotely or streaming your favorite shows.

Are the kitchens fully equipped?

Yes. Each home includes a fully equipped kitchen with cookware, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, and other essentials needed to prepare meals.

Pets

Are pets allowed?

Many of our vacation rentals welcome dogs, while others are pet-free. Please check the individual property listing for pet policies before booking.

Is there a pet fee?

Pet fees vary by property. Any applicable pet fee will be shown during the booking process.

Are there places to walk my dog?

Absolutely! Alpine Lake Resort features quiet roads, walking trails, and a dog park, making it a wonderful destination for guests traveling with dogs.

Yes! Guests staying in our vacation rentals enjoy access to many of Alpine Lake Resort's amenities, including the private beach, indoor pool, fitness center, golf course, hiking trails, pickleball courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, and more.

How close are the homes to the lake?

Each property is different. Many homes are just a short walk or drive from the lake, beach, golf course, and other resort amenities. Individual listing pages include more specific location details.

Winter Travel

Do I need four-wheel drive in the winter?

Winter weather in the mountains can change quickly. Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is strongly recommended during snowy or icy conditions. If you encounter an issue during your stay and need recovery, there are two local options for recovery vehicles.

Are the roads plowed?

Yes. Resort roads are maintained during winter weather, but snowfall can be significant. Please allow extra travel time and drive carefully. While roads are plowed in the resort, they are not treated. Hills and turns can be very slick. Please use caution.
