Cume dos Veados

Overall: Cute cabin that I thought look d better than pics when referencing interior space. At one point hosted a total of 5 adults comfortably. Con’s: Is no longer pet friendly. Advertised air conditioning but had no central air. A window unit was in master and loft only. Does have ceiling fans but I do wonder how comfortable summer would be. Lots of mosquitos so make sure to bring bug spray. Pros: Decorated very cute. Fire pit was nice place to make s’mores. Community is gated so felt safe. Lots of trails. Terrain is very rocky would suggest hiking boot. Dinner was okay at resort. Used the gym amenities which were not great but there. Drove into Terra Alta and on the main road they have a bar that sells food. It was pretty good. Drove into Maryland and went to the B&O railroad museum which was free. Wish Englanders would have been opened. It’s a restraunt near the museum that had high ratings.

Weather your traveling to North West MD in the Deep Creek area or North East WV this is a great place to stay. This cabin may look small from the front photo but once inside it has everything a family would need. Two spacious bedrooms and a large loft with multiple beds. Two full bathrooms, great size living room and a great view of the local wildlife out the back porch. I was traveling with my 23 year old son and my parents that are in their 80’s, my son and I played golf at the Alpine Lake Resort and it was a nice course to play. I highly recommend if you’re traveling to the area this is a great cabin to stay at.

Cabin was fantastic! Extremely clean (and my family is very picky!), cabin had everything we expected it to, it had plenty of room, and the location was great. Very affordable too! Would be very happy to stay here again!
